You may have read our previous two posts about limoncello:

Sometimes we are surprised by the keywords put in search engines which bring visitors to our Blog.
One visitor this week arrived at our Blog by searching the keywords LIMONCELLO TREE.
Was this visitor searching for a tree which produces a new type of citrus fruit called “limoncello“?
Or do they really think that ready-made bottles of limoncello can grow on trees?
Would it look something like THIS???
which brings us to the most famous TV hoax programme in history, played by the BBC (YES, the BBC!!!!).
A report broadcast by the BBC on April Fools’ Day 1957 told the story of a family in southern Switzerland, harvesting spaghetti from the fictitious spaghetti tree, broadcast at a time when this Italian dish was not widely eaten in the UK and some Britons were unaware that spaghetti is a pasta made from wheat flour and water.
here is a woman harvesting spaghetti from the spaghetti tree!!
and viewers actually believed it!!!
Have you heard of other weird stories of other items which people think grow on trees?
